Join the Rural City Information Exchange

January 13, 2021
Cal Cities’ Rural City Information Exchange is a valuable platform, created by the board of directors in June 2019, as a forum for rural cities to share challenges, ideas, and best practices specifically geared to their communities.

Sharing information is easy and effective through the Rural City Information Exchange. There are ample opportunities for rural cities to connect with and learn from each other, including a meeting at the Cal Cities Annual Conference & Expo, quarterly conference calls, a rural city listserv, webpage, and webinars.

Rural City Information Exchange Goals
  • Provide easily accessible platforms for peer-to-peer information sharing.
  • Provide a process for rural city officials to submit topics of interest for webinars.
  • Develop and deliver targeted and relevant educational programs.
How to Get Involved For more information about the Rural Cities Exchange, please contact Bismarck Obando at (916) 658-8273.
