Advancing Racial Equity: A Discussion
Cities across the nation are grappling with frustration, outrage, and grief stemming from the effects of systemic racism. Join leadership from the National League of Cities REAL Department and three California city leaders for a discussion on how they are building more equitable and just cities. Hear about the commitment the League is taking to root out systemic racial bias, next steps, and how you can be involved.

As city leaders work to dismantle the barriers to equity and justice in California’s cities, the League will be providing education and capacity-building resources to support you. Join leadership from the League and the National League of Cities REAL Department as we set the stage for the work ahead to expand our knowledge and capacity to eliminate racial disparities, heal racial divisions and build more equitable communities. This session is a re-run of a webinar the League offered on Aug. 27, 2020. It is being offered during annual c\onference as an extension to the Thursday General Session keynote panel. Panelists will not be available for Q&A.
