Register Now: Energy Resiliency and Independence for Rural Cities Webinar

March 11, 2020
Rural cities are uniquely vulnerable to the effects of disasters such as wildfires, earthquakes, and flooding. Therefore, finding affordable solutions to sustainable power that will support critical infrastructure is particularly daunting.

Join the League for this Rural City Information Exchange webinar on April 29, 10:30-11:30 a.m., and hear from field experts and rural city colleagues how to address these issues and acquire long-term, sustainable energy solutions for your city. Grants, zero-interest, and low-interest funding available to small disadvantaged communities and severely disadvantaged communities will be discussed.

Participants include:
  • Speaker: Jan Arbuckle, council member, Grass Valley
  • Speaker: Jesse Loren, council member, Winters
  • Speaker: Steven Higgins, Microgrid Competency Center director, Schneider Electric
  • Moderator: Mark Kindelberger, regional program manager, Schneider Electric
Register online at www.cacities.org/events by Tuesday, April 28 at noon.

Registration is $25 for League members only.  Non-member cities and all others will be charged $100.

For questions about how to register for the webinar, please contact Megan Dunn. For all other questions, please contact Bismarck Obando.
