Webinar: Resources for Financial Assistance and Recovery after a Wildfire

July 29, 2020
Sign up today for the League of California Cities Wildfire Response and Recovery Webinar series to prepare for the challenges of wildfire season, while continuing to respond to and navigate the COVID-19 crisis.

In the next webinar in this series, attendees will learn about important resources for financial assistance recovery after a wildfire.

Cities can struggle with understanding with how to financially respond and recover from a wildfire. Join the conversation about reimbursement programs, gathering the required documentation to receive FEMA reimbursements through Cal OES, how to avoid pitfalls in the reimbursement process, and tips on managing risks after the disaster. An opportunity for questions will be offered at the end of the presentation.

Presenters:
  • FEMA/Oakland External Affairs Officer Casey De Shong
  • FEMA Regional IX Assistant Regional Counsel Ann Winterman
  • CalOES Acting Recovery Infrastructure Branch Chief John Catching
Registration for this eight part series is $150 for the series or $25 per webinar.

Register now for the fifth webinar on Aug. 5.

Webinars will be scheduled weekly on Wednesdays at 10 a.m. Registration for this eight part series is $150 for the series or $25 per webinar and is available at www.cacities.org/events.
