The call for proposals is an opportunity to share best practices and innovative approaches, as well as research and information with public works directors from cities and counties across California.
Topics of interest to event participants include session proposals about storm water, public-private partnerships, SB 1, use of technology, leadership, succession planning, emergency response, pavement, and bridge topics. You may reference a copy of last year's program
on the League’s website.
How to Submit
In addition to traditional-style panel presentations, we encourage submissions to be creative and submit an alternative session type. View the complete details for more information.
Sessions may not include sales, commercialism or product promotion of any kind. Ideas need to be fully completed and submitted through the online proposal form
by Friday, Aug. 7 to be considered.
There is a limit to the amount of words allowed within the title and description of each proposal. We recommend you write your proposal in a word-processing program first, and paste the final version into the online form.
