New for Rural Cities
The League’s Rural City Information Exchange is a new platform, approved by the League board of directors in June 2019, as a forum for rural cities to share challenges, ideas, and best practices specifically geared to their communities.
Sharing information is easy through the Rural City Information Exchange. There are ample opportunities for rural cities to connect with a meeting place at the League Annual Conference & Expo, quarterly conference calls, a rural city listserv, webpage, and webinars. Visit the Rural City Information Exchange webpage
for updates about upcoming meetings, conference calls, webinars, and learn how to submit a webinar topic and join the listserv.
Connect Through Social Media
Social media remains a critical tool to keep California cities up to date on all the League’s news, including advocacy and educational updates, key takeaways (and photos!) from conferences and events, and a plethora of information designed to help California city officials serve their residents.
