In recognition of the great work being done, the League of California Cities Public Works Officers Department is taking nominations for the James L. Martin award to honor and an individual who has made an outstanding contribution and shown exceptional leadership to the public works profession.
This is an opportunity to display the nominee’s outstanding career service, leadership, expertise, and innovation in the public works field. The award will be presented during the annual Public Works Officers Institute & Expo taking place March 18-20 in Monterey.
The award has been presented since 2003 to individuals who demonstrate outstanding contributions to the public works field, including fostering professional development, mentoring of others and actively participating in League activities such as department leadership and policy committee representation.
Nominations must be received no later than noon on Feb. 18 by submitting the Nomination Form
