Registration Now Open for Planning Commissioners Academy and Public Works Officers Institute

The League of California Cities has several fantastic educational opportunities available right now. Check out a couple of the offerings below!
 
Planning Commissioners Academy
March 4-6, Sacramento
For planning commissioners of all career levels, the Planning Commissioners Academy offers participants the opportunity to learn about the major planning and land use issues facing California cities. Concurrent sessions will be offered, featuring fundamental basics and nuts and bolts sessions, as well as emerging issues and innovative ideas for more seasoned professionals.
 
Deadline to register and reserve your hotel is Tuesday, Feb. 11.  Registration for three days starts at $625 for League members.

Public Works Officers Institute
March 18-20, Monterey
The League of California Cities and the County Engineers Association of California are gearing up for three days of education and networking at their joint Public Works Officers Institute & Expo. California public works directors and professionals will convene for the three-day event, March 18-20 at the Monterey Conference Center. Sessions will feature the latest information in pavements, municipal finance, and lessons learned from communities affected by fire and floods.
