Submit Your Conference Session Ideas for These Upcoming Events

League of California Cities’ members and other stakeholders have an opportunity to create session topics for upcoming educational conferences this fall. Check out the current call for session proposals open for consideration.
 
Call for Proposals
 
Annual Conference & Expo                 Oct. 7-9                        Long Beach
 
Educational sessions at the annual conference should target a broad audience, be innovative and thought provoking, and include trends, tools, and best practices. These sessions are intended to provide attendees the opportunity to gain practical skills and useful resources. Read the instructions and submit a session proposal by March 30.
 
Fire Chiefs Leadership Seminar          Dec. 9-11                      Monterey
 
This two-day seminar is geared towards fire chiefs, chief officers, union leadership, and other fire services leaders. Sessions should focus on challenging leadership topics, succession planning, labor relations, emergency response, late breaking changes in EMS and more. Read the instructions and submit a session proposal by April 30.
 
Municipal Finance Institute                  Dec. 9-11                      Monterey
 
The objective of this conference is to educate finance directors and other municipal finance professionals about new products and services to better serve their city. Topics must be related to public accounting, auditing, fraud, taxation, consulting, financial planning, ethics, and specialized industry or government practices. Review the instructions and submit a session proposal by June 30.
