A New Disaster Preparedness Conference for City Attorneys

May 10, 2019
The League of California Cities and the County Counsels Association of California have collaborated to bring a new educational opportunity to our members at a one-day conference entitled, “Avoiding Total Disaster: the Law & Emergencies.”

Designed for local government legal advisers who are interested in learning how to prepare for, respond to, and clean up after a natural disaster, this conference will provide a timely and informative means for attendees to earn MCLE credit. View the conference flyer and full list of educational sessions on the League website.

The conference will be held on June 24, 2019 at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in Sacramento. It will begin at 8:00 a.m. with registration and breakfast, and sessions will run from 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.

The registration fee is $195 and includes all electronic meeting materials — including a “playbook” that City Attorneys and County Counsels can use when they encounter a disaster. Registration also includes breakfast, lunch and beverages.

Register early, as space is limited. Registration closes at 5 p.m. on June 10.
