Sessions on communications, transportation, housing, and more to be featured

July 1, 2019
Get a sneak peek at the educational sessions that will be offered at the League of California Cities 2019 Annual Conference & Expo.

The annual meeting will bring together over 1,800 California city leaders for a three-day educational and networking event to provide opportunities for attendees to gain perspectives and knowledge on real issues challenging cities, plus deepen relationships and share with others in similar fields.

Whether attending to discover large-event communications tactics or understand how dockless scooters are affecting cities, the annual conference will have plenty of sessions to inform and engage. By connecting professional experience and collective understanding, attendees will find many opportunities to gain practical skills and useful resources. The line-up of sessions may be hard to choose from; take some time to review the offerings now on the League’s website. Bring a colleague and divide the sessions to cover all of your priority topics.

Register by Aug. 14 and receive $50 off your conference registration with the early bird discount. A full conference registration includes access to educational sessions, Wednesday host-city reception, networking events, Thursday lunch with exhibitors, and the Friday closing luncheon. Member city full conference registrations start at $550 when you register before Aug. 14, or $600 when registering after.

There are several fantastic properties for lodging this year around the Long Beach Convention Center. A limited number of hotel rooms are available at reduced rates for registered attendees; please register first before receiving the links in your registration confirmation email to reserve hotel rooms.
