The call for proposals is an opportunity to share best practices and innovative approaches, as well as research and information with public works directors from cities and counties across California.
For this three-day event, the two organizations are soliciting session proposals on topics of importance to these professionals including but not limited to; storm water, public-private partnerships, SB1, use of technology, leadership, succession planning, emergency response, pavement, and bridge topics. New this year, the League and CEAC are accepting session proposals for different session formats. In addition to submitting a traditional-style panel presentation, session crafters are encouraged to be creative with their suggested session types. A brand new category for alternative formats is available; view the complete details for more information.
Sessions may not include sales, commercialism or product promotion of any kind. Ideas need to be fully completed and submitted through the online proposal form
by Monday, July 22
to be considered by the committee.
There is a limit to the amount of words allowed within the title and description of each proposal. We recommend you write your proposal in a word-processing program first, and paste the final version into the online form.
