League Releases Statewide Cannabis Survey

All cities encouraged to take survey, regardless of whether cannabis is allowed or not

January 7, 2019
The League of California Cities® is encouraging all cities to participate in a survey designed to assist the League in understanding the myriad ways that different cities are handling cannabis in their communities.

This 20-minute survey will help determine best practices and assist League staff in communicating methods of cannabis implementation with all member cities.

A link to the survey is available online.

City feedback and stories will be helpful as the League moves forward on this issue. The deadline to submit the survey is Monday, Feb. 18 at 5 p.m. If there are any questions regarding the survey or survey questions, please contact League Legislative Representative Charles Harvey or League Legislative Policy Analyst Derek Dolfie.

In addition to the survey, city officials interested in taking action and receiving updates related to cannabis are encouraged to join the new League Cannabis Listserv. This listserv will function as a medium where cities can ask questions and share information with one another, as well as receive important updates on all things cannabis related from the League.
