Webinar Available Dec. 19: Money In and Out for Capital Projects in Rural Areas

December 16, 2019
Large, urban cities often have a tax base that allows for development and redevelopment while rural cities are obligated to work with smaller capital budgets and a tax base that feels overburdened by taxes. Obtaining needed funds in a respectful way and staying on budget are essential to the success of a rural city.

Join the League for this Rural City Information Exchange webinar on Dec. 19 from 1:30-2:30 p.m. for a discussion about obtaining funds, and using those funds, for capital projects in a city with a small to medium sized economy.

Participants include:
  • Speaker: Cathy Dominico, Managing Partner of Strategic Consulting, Capitol Finance Group
  • Speaker: Jeffrey Small, Managing Partner of Financial Transactions, Capitol Finance Group
  • Moderator: Robert Bendorf, director of Client Services, Capitol Public Finance Group
Register online at www.cacities.org/events by Wednesday, Dec. 18 at 5 p.m.

Registration is $25 for League Members only. Non-member cities and all others will be charged $100.

For questions about how to register for the webinar, please contact Megan Dunn.  For all other questions, please contact Jennifer Whiting.
