Upcoming Bills in Committee, April 22 – 29

April 22, 2019
The Legislature returns today and is already back in full swing with legislative hearings to discuss policy areas of interest to cities.

April is a very busy month in the Capitol, jam-packed with legislative policy committees and the Governor’s May Budget Revise in just a few weeks. April 26 is also the last day for policy committees to hear and report to fiscal committees on fiscal bills introduced in their house of origin.

Most hearings will be televised. The Senate and Assembly publish weekly television schedules, and audio is always available online. Many hearings are also webcast via the California Channel.
