This is an exciting opportunity to share your ideas, knowledge and expertise with local government staff, elected officials and decision makers. Each proposal is considered for educational value and the extent to which it presents new and/or significant information.
With approximately 1,800 attendees, the League’s Annual Conference combines three-days of general sessions, workshops, and networking for city elected officials, department staff directors, and stakeholders throughout California.
The ideal proposal will broadly appeal to all League members and address current and timely topics. Session proposals will be evaluated for originality and whether they address thought-provoking evidence-based topics. Proposals should avoid product/vendor promotion.
Submissions, non-commercial in nature, from individuals, groups, businesses or organizations, on any topic of interest are welcome. Previous submissions and ideas may be submitted again and reviewed by the conference planning team for consideration for 2019.

There is a limit to the amount of words allowed within the title and description of each proposal. Be sure to read the instructions carefully.
