Join the League and the Institute for Local Government (ILG) for a webinar training on April 25.
In order to comply with legal requirements, webinar attendees must be present at a computer to participate. Confirmation of active participation will be determined by answering a series of questions via email following the webinar. Each attendee must have an individual registration in order to receive a certificate of completion.
The April 25 webinar will run from 10 a.m. to noon. The cost is $25 for League members, Non-member cities and others will be charged $125.

AB 1661 (Chapter 816, Statutes of 2016) requires local agency officials to receive two hours of sexual harassment prevention training and education within the first six months of taking office and every two years thereafter if the agency provides an type of compensation, salary, or stipend to those officials. The League and ILG recommend that city officials consult with their city attorney to confirm this webinar satisfies the requirements of the local agency.
