ILG Hosts Public Engagement Training in San Diego June 5–6

To help cities improve their public engagement efforts, the Institute for Local Government (ILG) will be hosting a TIERS Public Engagement Learning Lab on June 5–6 in San Diego at The Point.
 
This training addresses the needs of local governments that are applying a variety of public engagement strategies and approaches to issues ranging from land use and budgeting to climate change and public safety.
 
The TIERS Public Engagement Learning Lab as an interactive, results-oriented program that provides participants with pre-training consultation, an immersive two-day training, customized implementation coaching, 'open lab’ calls for problem solving and much more. This program will help cities build and manage successful public engagement in order to better support their work, manage stakeholder input and increase project success.
