Local Streets and Roads Assessment Webinar Scheduled for Oct. 23

October 10, 2014
The results are in and once again the biennial Local Streets and Roads Assessment has concluded that California’s local system remains on the brink of a rapid, downward condition spiral if maintenance funding shortfalls are not addressed.
See the results before anyone else. The official report will be released on Tuesday, Oct. 28 but cities, counties and transportation officials are invited to an advanced briefing on this crucial research on Tuesday, Oct. 23 from 2-3 p.m. This free webinar will cover the report’s findings, what they mean for your community, and how you can help get out the word. The 2014 update surveyed all of California’s 482 cities and 58 counties, capturing data from more than 99 percent of the state’s local streets and roads.
This webinar is free for League and CSAC members and partners. Please only register for one line per entity as there is a limit of 500 lines.
Please register online no later than 5 p.m. on Oct. 20. Webinar log-in information and background materials will be sent by Oct. 21.
For registration questions, please contact Megan Dunn. For all other questions related to the streets and roads report, contact Meghan McKelvey.
