DOF Presentation on Developing and Implementing Long-Range Property Management Plans Webinar

December 10, 2014
The League of California Cities invites city officials to attend a webinar presentation by the Department of Finance (DOF) about its review and processing of Long-Range Property Management Plans (LRPMP).
The webinar will be held Thursday, Dec. 18 from 2-3:15 p.m.

Representatives from the DOF Local Government Unit recently gave this presentation at the League’s Municipal Finance Institute on Dec. 4. Given the important nature and timeliness of this topic, the League requested DOF to present this information to our broader membership via a webinar hosted by the League.
During the webinar, member cities will hear the latest LRPMP experiences firsthand from DOF management. While cities may differ with DOF over specific interpretations in this area of law, hearing the perspective of DOF management may be helpful in developing LRPMPs including gathering required information, LRPMP formatting, determining disposed property designation and what DOF staff expects to see post LRPMP approval.
DOF Local Government Unit staff Chris Hill, principal program budget analyst, and Brian Dunham, lead analyst, will also be on hand following the presentation to answer attendee questions and help provide guidance as cities continue to navigate the post-redevelopment landscape.
This webinar is for League member cities and League Partners only. One connection per city or partner.
Register for the webinar online by 12 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 17.
For questions on how to register for the webinar, please contact Megan Dunn. For all other questions, please contact Meg Desmond
