Bills in Committee: April 1–5

April 1, 2013
This week, the League will be monitoring committees scheduled to hear bills of interest to cities, which were on our recently released bills of interest list. The League will report any actions of significance.
The Assembly will convene today for a floor session at 12 p.m. and the Senate will convene at 2 p.m. Today is also the first extraordinary session on call of the Assembly Speaker and Senate Pro Tempore. Many legislative hearings are available online for video or audio monitoring. A full listing of all Senate and Assembly hearings is available online. Hearing times are subject to change.
Bill language and any available position letters can be found on the League’s website at www.cacities.com/billsearch by typing the bill number into the search box.
