Rural City Information Exchange

The Rural City Information Exchange was created by the Cal Cities’s Board of Directors in June 2019 as a forum for rural cities to share ideas and best practices specifically geared to their communities.

From a meeting place at Cal Cities Annual Conference & Expo and quarterly conference calls to a rural city listserv, webpage, and webinars – the Rural City Information Exchange is designed to make information sharing easier and more effective.

Rural City Information Exchange Goals

  • Provide easily accessible platforms for peer-to-peer information sharing.
  • Provide a process for rural city officials to submit topics of interest for webinars.
  • Develop and deliver targeted and relevant educational programs.
