Solar Regulation Implementation FAQ Now Available

The League of California Cities has posted on its website a frequently asked questions (FAQ) document for a new law requiring that cities speed up and streamline the permitting and inspection of rooftop solar energy installations. AB 2188 (Muratsuchi) imposes a number of new requirements with which cities must comply before Sept. 30.

April 7 is Mayors Day of Recognition for National Service

The Corporation for National and Community Service invites mayors from throughout the United States to participate in the third annual Mayors Day of Recognition for National Service. Scheduled for April 7, this year’s event will highlight the impact of AmeriCorps and Senior Corps. Participating in the event is a way to spotlight the importance of citizen engagement, recognize the dedication of national service members, and inspire more residents to get involved in their communities.
