Keynote Speakers to See During Mayors and Council Members Executive Forum

June 22-23 in Monterey

The 2016 Mayors & Council Members Executive Forum is coming up next month and the May 24 registration deadline is fast approaching. This premiere event for mayors and council members will be held at the Hyatt Regency in Monterey on June 22-23 and will offer two general sessions with highly regarded keynote speakers.

U.S. Communities, the League of California Cities® and California State Association of Counties sponsored government purchasing alliance, is hosting on May 24 at the Victoria Gardens Cultural Center in Rancho Cucamonga a free regional event to learn how to save time and money through U.S. Communities program.

League-Sponsored Bond Agency Issues $964.3 Million in Tax-Exempt Bonds for Multifamily Affordable Housing in Irvine and Loma Linda University Medical Center

Some of the most significant benefits of League membership for cities since 1988 have flowed from the League’s co-sponsorship of the California Statewide Communities Development Authority (CSCDA). This program provides a variety of public agencies and developers access to low-cost, tax-exempt financing and economic development tools. CSCDA recently issued a total of $964,343,451 in tax-exempt bonds for multi-family affordable housing for the Luminaira Apartments in Irvine and the Loma Linda University Medical Center throughout Loma Linda, Redlands and Murrieta.
