League of California Cities Issues Statement on Camp Fire’s Destructive Damage to Town of Paradise


The following statement can be attributed to League of California Cities® President Jan Arbuckle, council member, Grass Valley: 
 
“We are heartbroken by the devastating losses the Town of Paradise has endured from the Camp Fire. Our hearts go out to all of those affected, and we thank the firefighters, first responders, and public safety officers risking their lives to protect further loss of life and property.
 
We stand by the Town of Paradise through this tragedy, and are ready to support the town when it is time to recover."

Established in 1898, the League of California Cities is a nonprofit statewide association that advocates for cities with the state and federal governments and provides education and training services to elected and appointed city officials.
