Earlier today, the CalPERS Board of Administration voted to make significant changes to actuarial policies, increasing the rate that state and local government employers pay for their pension plans.

The League will be closely monitoring many key bills this week, including AB 1080, which addresses community revitalization, AB 440, which relates to brownfields, and SB 56, which addresses lost vehicle license fees for newly incorporated cities and cities with recently annexed inhabited areas.
