March Revenues Fall $233.5 Million Short of Expectations, Preliminary April Revenues Weak

This week Controller John Chiang released his March 2012 revenue report showing that the state’s monthly revenue projections fell $233.5 million, or 4.2 percent, below projections. The shortfall was in large part attributed to lower corporate tax revenues.

Draft California Climate Change Adaptation Policy Guide

The California Natural Resources Agency, California Emergency Management Agency and California Polytechnic State University - San Luis Obispo (Cal Poly) are seeking feedback on the newly released draft Adaptation Policy Guide. The guide provides a method to aid local communities and regional entities in evaluating vulnerability and devising strategies to address climate change impacts.
