Final results are close to complete for the 368 local measures on the 2012 November ballots. In the tallies of additional votes since election night, four school bonds and one school parcel tax have flipped from failure to passage.

Of the 240 local tax and bond measures on yesterday’s ballot in California, 171 appear to have passed including 85 out of 106 school bonds and 52 out of 66 general taxes.

Last Thursday, the League board of directors was updated on the ongoing discussions in League policy committees of the initiative in circulation by California Forward that would impose new budgeting responsibilities on cities and other local agencies and state government.
