Each year the League of California Cities®
board of directors invites California city officials who are interested in serving on the National League of Cities (NLC) board of directors or as NLC’s second vice president to request an endorsement by the League board of directors.
If you are elected to serve, you will automatically also have a seat on the League’s board for the duration of your term on the NLC board.
Request for Endorsement Application Process
The League’s board of directors will consider requests for endorsements received by the submission deadline when it meets on Thursday, Sept. 13, during the League’s annual conference.
The request for endorsement form is available on League website
, in the board of directors section. The deadline to submit the request for endorsement form is Tuesday, Aug. 21 at 5 p.m.
