State Transportation Funding Estimates for Proposed FY 2018–19 State Budget Released

Updated information is available with city and county estimated allocations of Local Streets and Roads (LSR) funds to cities and counties through the Highway Users Tax Account (HUTA) and the Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Account (RMRA) for FY 2017–18 and FY 2018–19. 
 
RMRA funds are the formula based allocations of new funding from SB 1 (Beall).
 
League Fiscal Consultant Michael Coleman has calculated city and county allocations of transportation revenues for local streets and roads funds based on estimates released by the Department of Finance (DOF) with Gov. Jerry Brown’s proposed FY 2018–19 State Budget.

These are the figures your agency should use for budgeting these funds. After Gov. Jerry Brown releases his revised budget proposal in May, DOF will update the estimates for the coming fiscal year.
