Reminder: ILG Will Partner with San Bernardino LAFCO to Provide Ethics Training

The Jan. 29 Workshop is Open to Other Municipal Agency Elected Officials and Staff

The Institute for Local Government (ILG) will hold an ethics training on Jan. 29 in Apple Valley with the San Bernardino County LAFCO. 
 
The workshop is also open to elected officials and staff from other agencies. It will focus on transparency strategies in partnership with the LAFCO in variety of ways including:
  • Conscientious observance of transparency laws;
  • Concerted efforts to share information with the public about local agency operations and decision-making process; and
  • A commitment to engaging the public.
 Attendees will learn tips to implement these strategies and increase the level of transparency in their communities. The workshop is free and will take place from 10 a.m.‒noon at the Mojave Water Agency in Apple Valley.
