Participants will learn about the benefits of implementing a wellness program for your city’s employees and have a second chance to view the HBM active employee and retiree solution basics webinars.

HBM Wellness Program for Active Employees
Thursday, Sept. 22, 2–3 p.m.


A healthy team is a happy one. Through the League’s Health Benefits Marketplace WellRight wellness program, cities can provide active employees an online solution to encourage positive habit formation in all areas of well-being, and potentially reduce healthcare costs and boost productivity. During this one-hour webinar participants will learn:
  • Why employers are quickly adopting wellness programs
  • WellRight's approach to engaging a workforce and improving a population's health
  • Elements of a solid wellness program
  • Positive Habit formation and holistic wellness (it's much more than physical fitness)

HBM Retiree Solution Basics for HR Directors
Tuesday, Sept. 20, 10–11 a.m.


Discover the HBM’s retiree solution and how it can leverage more cost efficient products from the individual market. This one-hour webinar will cover the following topics:
  • How to determine if the individual product market for Medicare, Rx, Dental and Vision coverage is more cost efficient than your incumbent group plan(s);
  • Operational review of the retiree exchange solution, including employer subsidy management;
  • Implementation and timeline for cities and retirees;
  • Communications and change management strategy for implementation;

Wednesday, Sept. 21, 10–11 a.m.
