Applications for the COPS Community Policing Development Program must be submitted through the COPS website by 7:59 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, June 1 to be considered for funding. Cities who are interested in applying are encouraged to start the application process as soon as possible.
Applications for CPD must be submitted in two parts:
- Applicants must first apply online via www.grants.gov to complete the SF-424, the government-wide standard form required for competitive grant application packages. Please ensure only one SF-424 is submitted for the COPS Community Policing Development Program. Multiple submissions may cause delays in the application process.
- After the SF-424 has been submitted, an email will be sent with instructions on completing the second part of the application through the COPS Office Online Application System, found on the COPS Office website at www.cops.usdoj.gov through the "Account Access" link in the upper right hand corner.
