CalTRUST Hosting Free Educational Economic Outlook Webinar July 13

CalTRUST, co-sponsored by the League of California Cities® and the California State Association of Counties, is a statewide investment pool for California public agencies.
 
As part of their ongoing commitment to providing educational tools, CalTRUST, is offering an Economic Outlook webinar at no-cost on Wednesday, July 13 from 3-4 p.m. CalTRUST webinars are open to all California city, county, special district, and non-profit agencies. 

This informational webinar provides a current economic outlook and analysis of the effects on the bond market presented by Gary Schlossberg, Senior Economist with Wells Capital Management.
 
This webinar will provide an overview of the current economic environment and market conditions including: 
  • The U.S. economic growth outlook into 2017;
  • How California fits into the overall U.S. outlook;
  • Will the Federal Reserve resume interest-rate hikes this year?;
  • Which way for longer-term yields; and
  • The election outlook and its likely effect on Federal tax, spending and regulatory policy.
