Fire Chiefs Leadership Seminar Will Be Returning Nov. 28 in Monterey

Register by Nov. 8

August 19, 2016
Back after a six-year hiatus, the League of California Cities® is proud to announce the return of the Fire Chiefs Leadership Seminar.

The two-day seminar will be held on Nov. 28–29 at the Monterey Marriott and is geared towards fire chiefs, chief officers, union leadership, and other fire services leaders.

Presenters and topics have been selected to deliver challenging leadership topics such as succession planning, labor relations, emergency response, late breaking changes in EMS and more.

You won’t want to miss the Fire Service Leadership session “The Wicked Challenges Before Us” offered on Monday, Nov. 28. In addition to fundamentals such as fire ground tactics and being able to balance budgets, today’s fire service leader is faced with a complex mix of issues at the local, regional, state, and national level. Discover how to identify the most significant issues facing fire service leaders, propose strategies for addressing them, and set the stage for the in-depth presentations to follow throughout the conference.

Take a look at the announcement, which includes more information on this session and the others that will be presented at this upcoming event. Register online by Nov. 8.
