State Water Resources Control Board Will Receive Public Comments on the Draft Storm Water Resource Plan Guidelines and Funding

The State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) announced an opportunity for public comments, workshops and an adoption meeting for the Draft Storm Water Resource Plan Guidelines and the Draft Proposition 1 Storm Water Grant Program (SWGP) Funding Guidelines.
 
Interested parties are encouraged to submit comments on the Plan Guidelines and Prop. 1 Funding Guidelines.

The purpose of the SWGP is to fund storm water and dry weather runoff projects that best advance SWRCB’s policy goals of improving water quality and realizing multiple benefits from the use of storm water and dry weather runoff as a resource.
 
Written comments on the Draft Plan and Prop. 1 Funding Guidelines are due by noon on Tuesday, Oct. 13 and addressed to:

Comment letters submitted electronically must be in PDF text format (less than 15 megabytes in total size) and sent to the board clerk via email. If the file is greater than 15 megabytes in total size, then the comment letter may be submitted by fax to (916) 341-5620. Please indicate on the transmittal subject line: “Comment Letter – Storm Water Resource Plan and Proposition 1 Funding Guidelines.”
 
The Draft Plan and Funding Guidelines are available for review online.
 
Public Comment Meetings
 
The State Water Board will conduct three public outreach meetings for interested parties to provide oral comments on the Draft Plan Guidelines and Draft Funding Guidelines at these meetings. Details of the public meetings are provided on the SWGP website.
