Water Board to Offer Three In-Person Drinking Water State Revolving Fund and Proposition 1 Workshops in June

May 27, 2015
The State Water Resources Control Board’s (SWRCB) Division of Financial Assistance will be holding a Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) and Proposition 1 Public Workshop at three California locations in June.

The three workshops will provide SWRCB staff with an opportunity to answer questions and receive comments on the Draft FY 2015-16 DWSRF Intended Use Plan (IUP) and the proposed Proposition 1 guidelines.

Prop.1 (Section 79724) allocates $260 million in funding for public water system infrastructure improvements and related actions to meet safe drinking water standards, ensure affordable drinking water, or both.

The DWSRF (IUP)explains how the SWRCB  intends to implement the DWSRF Program. The Draft FY 2015-16 DWSRF incorporates information regarding implementation of Section 79724 of Prop. 1.
