Application Period Now Open for 2014-15 Museum Grant Program

Submit by Tuesday, Sept. 1

June 2, 2015
The California Cultural and Historical Endowment announce the release of its guidelines and application solicitation for the FY 2014-15 Museum Grant Program.

Gov. Jerry Brown signed AB 482 in 2013, which authorized creation of a specified competitive grant program to support small capital projects in museums including the acquisition of real property, or construction projects at museum facilities or venues.

Funding is currently available from Proposition 40 bond funds for two cycles of $2 million each. Proceeds from the new Snoopy Special Interest License Plate are planned to fund the program in future years. Snoopy License Plates may be purchased online to support California museums.

Please read the guidelines, application and forms in their entirety for important information on project eligibility, evaluation criteria and application submission requirements. Guidelines and application are available online.
