What Can You Expect At 2015 Public Works Officers Institute?

January 7, 2015
The holidays have come and gone and now it’s time to start looking forward to registering for the 2015 Public Works Officers Institute (PWOI).

This year’s PWOI will be held from Wednesday, March 25 to Friday, March 27 at the Hyatt Regency Newport Beach.

The conference covers everything from Sustainable Pavement Preservation Strategies to Using Tire-Derived Products in Public Works Projects and Storm Water Funding Strategies and will even feature an exclusive mini-expo.

The closing general session will showcase speaker Laura Faye Tenenbaum. Here’s a sneak peek of what you can expect at the closing general session:
  • Climate change is a phenomenon that, at times, can be a hot button issue. Attend this closing general session to take a look at climate change through the eyes of a NASA scientist. Laura Faye Tenenbaum from NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena will offer some new insight into the current state of the climate and provide some thought provoking ideas that you may be able to implement in your agency.
Register online by selecting the Public Works Officers Institute. Registration must be received by Friday, Feb. 27. After this date all registration must be completed on site.
