Cities Encouraged to Comment on Drought Emergency Regulations

Comments due by April 13

April 8, 2015
The California State Water Board is requesting comments and ideas from cities on its newly released draft regulatory framework to implement the required 25 percent potable urban water savings called for in Gov. Jerry Brown’s April 1, 2015 Executive Order.

Comments are due by Monday, April 13.

A Fact Sheet, Proposed Framework and a spreadsheet that provides the residential gallons per capita per day information (R-GPCD) for each urban water supplier can be found on the Water Board website under the “Documents” tab. Please review the Fact Sheet for information on the emergency rulemaking including the schedule and how to provide feedback.

Send written comments and questions to Jessica Bean.
