City Clerks New Law Elections Seminar Registration Closes Nov. 17

November 14, 2014
The registration deadline for the 2014 City Clerk's New Law & Elections Seminar is less than a week away. If you have not done so, make sure you register online for the 2014 Seminar no later than Monday, Nov. 17.

This conference emphasizes new laws affecting elections, in addition to many other facets of the city clerk's roles and responsibilities such as the Fair Political Practices Commission, the Brown Act and the Public Records Act. This year's seminar will be held Dec. 3 thru Dec. 5 with continuing education credits available to attendees.

In addition, Lea Deesing, Chief Innovation Officer at City of Riverside, will speak on “Information Management and the Challenge of Technology” during this year's session and will have an article in the upcoming December issue of Western City. Make sure to register so you hear first-hand from the author of “Electronic Transparency and Open Data: A Movement Worth Joining.”
