League Holds Candidate Forum in American Canyon, Second for North Bay Division

May 2, 2014
The League of California Cities’ North Bay Division, the American Canyon Chamber of Commerce and the Napa Chamber of Commerce held the League’s third legislative candidate forum Wednesday afternoon in American Canyon.

The 90-minute forum featured four Assembly candidates and was moderated by James Cooper, CEO and president of the American Canyon Chamber of Commerce.

The candidates discussed their perspectives on a range of issues relating to local government and the state-local relationship, such as water, infrastructure financing districts and the impact of the loss of redevelopment for cities.

The candidates for the Legislature included:
  • Assembly District 10: Bill Dodd, Napa County supervisor
  • Assembly District 10: Joe Krovoza, Davis mayor
  • Assembly District 10: Charlie Schaupp, U.S. Marine veteran
  • Assembly District 10: Dan Wolk, Davis vice mayor
Local officials and business community members from the North Bay region who wanted to learn more about the views of these prospective legislators attended the forum and were given an opportunity to ask questions about their issues of concern. The forum provided each candidate with an opportunity to share their views.

*Neither the League of California Cities, its Divisions nor its diversity caucuses endorse candidates.
