The FY 2014-15 State Budget includes some supplemental funding for local streets and roads from Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax revenues.

The budget includes a $100 million loan repayment and a $142 million adjustment for an allocation error by the State Controller’s office over the last several years. These “supplemental allocations” are to be allocated under the Streets and Highways code Section 2104-2107 formulas. Detailed estimates and a full explanation are available from California Local Government Finance Almanac.
