New Brief Highlights California’s Future Electorate Through 2040

January 22, 2014
The California Civic Engagement Project (CCEP) of the UC Davis Center for Regional Change released a new policy brief entitled "Is Demography Political Destiny? Population Change and California's Future Electorate" that may be of interest to cities.

The brief highlights research projecting the future age and racial composition of U.S. and California voters through election year 2040.

CCEP is a new nonpartisan data repository and research initiative for the state of California. Its mission is to collect and curate civic engagement data from a broad range of sources, making them a publicly available resource to all interested audiences, including political researchers, public officials, advocacy groups and communities themselves.
