DGS Will Offer Water Conservation Training for Government Facilities on March 12

City officials are invited to join the Department of General Services (DGS) for a free Water Conservation Training for Government Facilities on Wednesday, March 12.
 
The training is also available via webinar for those who are unable to travel to the event in West Sacramento. This training is designed for facility operators, managers, engineers, technicians and grounds personnel. 
 
Training will focus on:
  • Indoor fixture efficiency upgrades;
  • Urban landscape and irrigation efficiency; and
  • Funding resources, incentives and tools.
Participants will include representatives from government agencies, universities, utility companies, municipal water districts, nonprofits and professional associations who will share their knowledge of water conservation measures for government facilities.
