League Priority Measures Sent to Governor’s Desk; Cities Encouraged to Send Veto/Signature Letters

August 22, 2014
The Legislature passed a handful of League priority measures this week that are now en route to Gov. Jerry Brown.

The official last day of the 2013-14 biennial session is Sunday, Aug. 31, however, it is likely both houses will work late all next week in order to adjourn before the weekend deadline.

The following bills are currently on their way to/or pending on the Governor’s desk. The League encourages city officials to tailor the sample letters available via the links below to reflect specific examples of how these bills will impact your city or town.

League-supported Bills
The League will continue to monitor and update the list of bills pending before the Gov. Jerry Brown until the Governor’s bill signing deadline of Sept. 30. Please check back for updates as additional sample letters become available.
