Free Webinar for Members on Proposed Changes in Risk Pooling for Small Public Agencies

April 28, 2014
The League, California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS) Chief Actuary Alan Milligan and  Deputy Chief Actuary David Lamoureux are hosting an informative webinar on the recently proposed changes to pension risk pools for CalPERS agencies with less than 100 employees as a result of the 2012 pension reform.

The webinar will be held on Wednesday, April 30 from 10-11:30 a.m. Participants will hear from CalPERS about a recent staff report recommending the consolidation of the nine existing closed risk pools into two pools and the fiscal implications for local agencies of both options identified by CalPERS staff for addressing this issue.
