New ZEV Resource: Community Readiness Guidebook

October 3, 2013
The Governor’s Office of Planning and Research announced the completion of a new publication and resource: "Zero-Emission Vehicles in California: Community Readiness Guidebook."

Numerous state agencies and ZEV experts collaborated to prepare the Community Readiness Guidebook, which provides helpful information to local and regional governments, community leaders and residents. Its purpose is to help communities across the state support their residents and businesses as they make the switch to ZEVs.

The guidebook highlights many aspects of ZEV readiness, including necessary infrastructure, planning and zoning, permitting guidelines, greening local fleets and encouraging consumers through incentives and outreach. A number of tools and templates are also included in the guidebook serving as ready-to-use resources.

Please visit www.opr.ca.gov/ZEV for more information about zero-emission vehicles in California and the guidebook.
