ILG Interested in Learning about Your City’s Recycling Infrastructure

November 22, 2013
As part of a new project related to the financing and siting of recycling programs and infrastructure, the Institute for Local Government (ILG) is conducting a short survey to better understand:

  • How local agencies finance the staff and administrative functions of their solid waste and recycling programs;
  • How local agencies and the private sector finance recycling infrastructure and recycled content manufacturing facilities; and
  • Best practices and lessons learned related to siting and planning for recycling infrastructure and recycled content manufacturing facilities.
ILG is interested in learning about the experiences, programs, best practices and lessons learned from local agency officials, industry representatives, project proponents and others.

If your agency or organization has information to share, please complete a short survey providing information about your efforts and projects. For questions about the survey contact Yvonne Hunter at (916) 658-8242.

ILG is the non-profit research affiliate of the League of California Cities and the California State Association of Counties.
