Policy Brief on the California Latino Vote Released This Week

May 30, 2013
The UC Davis Center for Regional Change’s California Civic Engagement Project has released the next in a series of policy briefs.

"Changing Political Tides: Demographics and the Impact of the Rising Latino Vote"  examines the impact of the Latino vote in California over the last decade and its potential growth going forward in the state. The brief follows post-analysis of the 2012 November election, which has drawn considerable discussion around the current strength and future impact of the Latino vote. Much of this attention has focused on what demographic changes might mean to the growth of the Latino vote and for the Latino proportion of the electorate.
